Star Wars: Battlefront

The beta for Star Wars: Battlefront became open and available to everyone today, and I was just wondering who was playing it?
So far so good! No more launching through the weird web portal. Specific mention that there will only be free DLC (nothing paid), and no micro transactions or the like (is this really EA, lol?).

The sound effects are marvelous and spot on, and I'm feeling like a 12-year-old kid when I get an AT-ST at start blasting away with its iconic sounding laser blasters. Also, it's very pretty! It's somewhat arcade-y maybe, and the beta doesn't really show the depth of the game. The gameplay is solid and so far quite entertaining.

I'm also playing! Played a fair bit so far and I've enjoyed it a lot. I feel like if they can make the other Walker Assault maps up to the level of Hoth that's currently on there it should be great. Hopefully some of the other game modes are going to be as cool too.

I'll definitely be playing when it comes out!
